Venue Info:

 The newly renovated first floor (approx. 2600 S/F) includes a large open Dance Hall that can be used for a multitude of events.

• The main hall has an open space approx. 1500 S/F with brand new maple Hardwood floors.

• Mirrors, Tables and Chairs & a full sound system make it ideal for your next party celebration. The stereo system allows for a hookup of several audio players.

• A comfortable venue with a waiting room Lobby, separate Women and Men restrooms, Kitchenette area & NEW Backstage Dressing Room.

• Our venue is fully equipped for small selective Receptions of 50 & under, Private Parties including Birthdays and Showers, Corporate Functions, and many more Private Rental Needs.

 

The first floor is available for rent or sublease hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly during off times.
Our regular group classes are usually held Monday through Friday between 5:00 pm -9:00 pm & some weekends between 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. At other times the studio is available for rent. The street of Lane Allen is a highly visible street with easy access from Harrodsburg Road, just minutes from downtown Lexington or New Circle Road. Instructors and Organizations that rent the studio on a regular basis will have the opportunity to advertise their classes/events in the studio and on some social media platforms associated with The Salsa Center.

Possible Rental Uses include but not limited to:

Space rentals for activities like Yoga/Pilates and other wellness classes / Dance, Music and Art classes, Film/Photo Shoot/PR/Marketing Event, Dance or Birthday Parties / Annual Events, or Parties, Lecture/Seminar / Conference/Convention / Corporate Meetings, etc.

  Instructor Rentals (Main Hall, Sounds system, Mirrors, per month scheduling):

Note: Does NOT apply to Primetime hours from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Does not apply to Workshops, Seminars or any similarly structured events. These rates only apply to weekly regular sessions with classes up to 15 students and non-prime time hours. Attendance over 15 students up to 30 students, will be subject to an extra fee of $5 per person.

All requests for refunds, cancellations or scheduling must be received in writing through email at thesalsacenter@gmail.com. All individual reservations should be reserved and paid for at least 1 week prior to scheduled rental date.
All bulk reservations are to be paid for at least 1 week prior to each month to avoid availability and scheduling conflicts. 
We abide by the 48 hour cancellation policy. The first rescheduled class will be free of charge. All additional rescheduling sessions will incur a $35 rescheduling fee as per the 48 hour cancellation policy. 
Any reservations that need to be rescheduled due to sickness or cancelation will result in a $35 rescheduling for the new date to be used within 30 days. Cancellations are subject to a 50% refund. Requests must be formally emailed to thesalsacenter@gmail.com.

  The Salsa Center is available for Corporate Functions

Dancing is a socially interactive, dynamic, and expressive art form that boosts confidence, etiquette, and empathy. As a low-risk, low-weight bearing activity with different levels of intensity that appeals to a vast range of individuals. No matter where you start, dancing can be a full-body workout! Dance improves posture, a huge problem for the modern workforce. Why does this matter? Employees who are aware of and who respond to their body’s health needs are better able to work physically and mentally. Dancing will get them in a health-oriented mindset. Healthy employees also mean a healthy company.

 

Dance classes provide your staff with a great time but also encourage them to socialize together in a safe environment.

All event rentals less than 4 hours still incur the same rates below.

4 Hour Block Rates (includes set up and take down):

$500 Friday open slots after 5:00 pm

$450 Saturday open slots before 4:00 pm 

$700 Saturday open slots after 5:00 pm

$500 Sunday open slots from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm 

$425 daily rate from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday

  A/V Virtual Conference (Main Hall)  

Setting up your rental with A/V Virtual Conference for remote presenters (seminars, webinars, conferences, etc) will incur additional costs if such equipment is not lent by and operated by your institutional partners.

• Wireless lavalier microphone system with professional Quality Audio.

• Lighting.

• Sound monitor.

• 55” 4k TV.

• Fiber Optic Internet service.

• IT assistance (optional but limited to Virtual Conference only, any facility rental requires a tech/manager person on-site and the associated fees)
